A family agency in Marrakech — not a booking platform
Marrakech Express Tour was founded in Marrakech in 2015 by Abderrahime Faiz. We are not a marketplace reselling someone else's trip: the cars, the driver-guides and the camps in Merzouga are ours, and every itinerary is written by the same small team that answers your messages.
We saw too many visitors experience Morocco through rushed schedules and crowded coaches, so we built the opposite: private journeys where every guest travels at their own pace, reaches the authentic places most tours miss, and feels welcomed like family.
- Born in MarrakechWe live here, we drive these roads every week.
- Our own vehicles and guidesNo subcontracting, no strangers on your trip.
- A licensed Moroccan operatorRegistered, insured, with licensed drivers.

Born in MarrakechMeet Abderrahime, founder & guide
“Long before Marrakech Express Tour existed, I spent years exploring Morocco's hidden valleys, ancient kasbahs, mountain villages and the endless dunes of the Sahara.”
So we began — a small team with a single promise: to design personalised journeys that balance comfort, authenticity and genuine attention to detail. Every itinerary is planned by hand and every hotel thoughtfully chosen, and a decade on that same passion still guides every private tour we create.
- Born and raised in Marrakech
- Plans every private itinerary himself
- Reachable on WhatsApp during your whole trip
- A licensed Moroccan tour operator since 2015
Questions travellers ask about us
Short answers — anything else, just send a message.
01Are your tours private or group?
Most of our tours are private — just you, your travel companions, and your dedicated born-and-raised local guide, never grouped with strangers. We also run a few shared small-group departures (clearly marked shared) for travellers who prefer a lower price.
02Le Maroc est-il sûr pour les touristes ?
Yes — Morocco is one of the safest countries in Africa for travellers, and with our experienced local guides you'll feel welcome throughout your journey. Your guide stays with you for the whole trip, and we're reachable on WhatsApp at any point during the tour.
03How much does a 3-day desert tour cost?
Shared Sahara tours start from €100 per person and private 3-day tours from €660 for the car, with hotel pick-up, a night in the Dades Valley and a night in a desert camp included.
04When is the best time to do a Sahara desert tour?
March to May and September to November are the most comfortable: warm days, cool nights, clear skies. Summer in the desert is very hot in the middle of the day, and winter nights in Merzouga get cold — the camps have heavy blankets and heaters. We run tours all year round.
05Do I need a visa for Morocco?
Travellers from the EU, UK, US, Canada, Australia and many other countries can enter Morocco visa-free for up to 90 days with a passport valid for at least 6 months. Rules change, so please check with your own country's foreign office before you travel.
06What should I pack for the desert?
Layers, closed shoes for the dunes, a scarf for the wind, sunscreen, a power bank and a little cash for tips and small purchases.
