Your Marrakech desert tour begins in the morning towards the Merzouga desert. We will cross the High Atlas Mountains, passing through some Kasbahs, the Atlas Berber villages, as we continue driving on the Mountains. After a few hours of touring the Atlas Mountains, we will reach Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a famous World Heritage site. You will enjoy a well-served lunch near the Kasbah before we continue driving towards Ouarzazate (Hollywood of Africa). At Ouarzazate, the Taourirt Kasbah and Atlas studios were where several movies were shot, such as Game of Thrones and much more. We will then drive towards Skoura and Roses Valley. We will spend our night at the hotel.
Dinner and overnight
Our three days Moroccan Desert trip to Merzouga goes on after Breakfast. We will then drive through roads lined with ancient kasbahs and many attractive Berber villages at the Toudra Gorges. to Tineghir, a breathtaking valley full of date palms. Experience the high walls of grey and pink rock around the road as we trek along the 300m high canyons.
We will then head to the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga, Sahara Desert, and you’ll enjoy your lunch in Tinjdad. As soon as you arrive at the famous dunes of Erg Chebbi, we will let you enjoy a one-hour camel ride as you watch the sunset in style, heading to the oasis where a camp is located. Nothing is more interesting than spending your night at Merzouga Sahara dunes in the bivouac under traditional nomadic tents or outdoors under the shooting stars. You can also spend your night playing the drums with the experienced camel guide if you like.
After enjoying the amazing sunrise among the sand dunes and having breakfast, you ride back your Camels to the Auberge.
You will travel back directly to Marrakech and have few stops on the way. Enjoying your lunch then continue to the red city of Marrakech over the mountains of high Atlas passing through the Tizi N’tichka pass (2260 meters in altitude). Arrival to Marrakech and Drop off in your accommodation in Marrakech.

Your passport must be valid for atlas six months in order to enter Morocco. Please make sure that you stamp your passport once you’re in Morocco. That will allow you to stay for up to 90 days. Entry fees are not charged.

On the shared tour, you will have your own private room and private tent in the desert, you will be sharing only transportation. For the private tour we have 3 options, the STANDARD, MEDIUM and LUXURY, the standard option includes standard hotel and standard desert camp, the MEDIUM option includes mid-range hotel and standard desert camp and the LUXURY option includes a luxury hotel and luxury desert camp with private ensuite bathroom
Yes, you can upgrade to the luxury camp tent anytime before your tour for an additional cost of 70€ per person.
Yes, all Camps, Hotels, Riads, and Kasbahs provide basic toiletries and towels for your convenience.
