March to May and September to November are the most comfortable: warm days, cool nights, clear skies. Summer in the desert is very hot in the middle of the day, and winter nights in Merzouga get cold — the camps have heavy blankets and heaters. We run tours all year round.
Le meilleur moment pour visiter Marrakech : un guide mensuelLayers, closed shoes for the dunes, a scarf for the wind, sunscreen, a power bank and a little cash for tips and small purchases.
What to Pack for a Morocco Desert TourMost of our tours are private — just you, your travel companions, and your dedicated born-and-raised local guide, never grouped with strangers. We also run a few shared small-group departures (clearly marked shared) for travellers who prefer a lower price.
Private vs Shared Desert Tour from MarrakechYes — Morocco is one of the safest countries in Africa for travellers, and with our experienced local guides you'll feel welcome throughout your journey. Your guide stays with you for the whole trip, and we're reachable on WhatsApp at any point during the tour.
Morocco, Honestly: What I'd Tell a Friend Before They GoTravellers from the EU, UK, US, Canada, Australia and many other countries can enter Morocco visa-free for up to 90 days with a passport valid for at least 6 months. Rules change, so please check with your own country's foreign office before you travel.
Shared Sahara tours start from €100 per person and private 3-day tours from €660 for the car, with hotel pick-up, a night in the Dades Valley and a night in a desert camp included.
